At Linz Heritage Angus, we pride ourselves on our personal touch from conception of high-quality Angus seedstock through the center of the plate. We started as a small butcher shop back in 1963 and have grown into a premier purveyor of fine beef to top steakhouses, locally in Chicago and internationally as far as Hong Kong. In 2012, we began the evolution to become fully integrated. Our foundation starts with the best genetics possible to create the most consistent high-quality Angus beef available. We are committed to bringing the best in everything we do.
Building upon four generations of excellence in the high-end meat business, we aren’t taking our commitment to the Angus industry lightly. Applying the same dedication to excellence from our registered Angus seedstock operation to our commercial stockers. Beginning with mating decisions, AI and embryo transfer work, to developing the next generation of replacement females and developing our bulls to meet producer’s standards. We follow feeder calves throughout the entire process, including custom cutting and wet and dry-aging in-house. We’re in this for a purpose: to create the “Michael Jordan” of the Angus breed and the perfect steak; one we can trace back to the ranch and the bull that produced it. When we say we are involved and invested from beginning to end, we mean it.

Our history says it all. We have grown from five employees at our family butcher shop to nearly 300 strong. We proudly remain family owned, supplying the finest in Angus beef to white tablecloth restaurants, nationally and internationally. We believe in establishing lifelong partnerships, which is why we have programs like our calf buyback program and offer educational ranch tours to our restaurant partners. We strive to give all our customers the full experience. Everything we do is a cut above.
